A little daily exercise whilst we self isolate


Here is a short video to assist you in maintaining what you have already achieved in Mat class by exercising at home.


This is exactly what Joseph Pilates wished, for all who followed his teachings. His Mat work exercises really need nothing more than perhaps a towel or mat on the floor.


Before you start the programme, please have with you a small bath towel, folded as we do in the studio, to use as a head support.


This towel can be used to place between your knees for the Essential hip roll, as shown by Peter in the video. Two one kilogram weights and a flex band will be ideal but not totally necessary.


The first 15 seconds of the video is for you to connect to core muscles with concious breathing.
